Easy access to Central London with all its attractions is combined with 1,250 acres of impressive forest and 620 acres of beautiful parkland. The extensive road and rail communication network makes it the ideal base for touring the lovely Essex villages to the east, or north to Colchester, Cambridge, and the famous Constable country in Suffolk. Turning south the Dartford bridge and tunnel give easy access to Kent and the coastal ports (Dover, Folkestone etc.)

Ilford is the largest shopping centre with more than 200 shops surrounding the magnificent multi-level Exchange Centre, which houses a department store, famous chain stores, food terrace and a huge car park. Apart from that there are a few excellent pubs like Wetherspoon's Great Spoon of Ilford. Other large shopping areas are at Barkingside and South Woodford.
If you are a Football (Soccer) Supporter you are geographically very close to two of London's biggest and best clubs (West Ham United and Arsenal) and also the formerly famous Tottenham Hotspur.
